for middle and high school oboists between the ages of 10 and 19
in conjunction with the Eastern U. S. Music Camp's 29th season

Presented during the 3rd week session: July 11-17, 2004
students attend 2-3-4 week sessions from June 27-July 24, 2004


EUSMC is offering an opportunity for young oboists to focus on:

Basic Fundamentals: The building blocks of skill development: tone, vibrato, articulation, technical proficiency, and how to effectively organize practice time! How to keep an oboe and the oboe player in tip-top shape.

Reed Making Skills: All aspects of reed making will be discussed from gouging and shaping to finishing. Plus, how to adjust store bought reeds!

Repertoire/Listening Skills/Performance: Attend live performances! Enjoy opportunities to prepare for and perform in recitals and concerts as part of the Eastern U.S. Music Camp 29th season!
